Nice work, but i didn't see acknowledge LED as response indicator on circuit...
I try to compile the code file, but there is some error.
What compiler u suggest? i use Reads 51 V4.20.
Or u can post hex file.
Thanks..

Respected Ajay Sir,
My self Sharad Chandra Sharma ,sir I have read the IR remote switch source code from internet it is an excellent effort yet I m confused by two type problem both are inlisted below . Please try to solve it I will be very thankful to you.
PROBLEM-1
In the software program of Phillips RC5 decoding (a 8-switch control asm code) , I have great confusion in reading the IR bits along with the time delay .I have explain my problem in details
Sir under the main lable after giving the 3.024ms a delay is given for AGC bits, after then the IR data is moved to carry bit (for reading the flip bit ) and further stored in FLIP location.
Under fadd lable the first 1.728ms delay is given then IR is moved to carry bit and further rotated into Accumulator , and DJNZ COUNT,fadd loop runs .
Sir my question is that way do you not given the delay for ‘FLIP bit or TOGGLE bit’ also under the fcmd lable initially 1.728ms delay is given and then command bit is readed way !
Or in other words we an say that
….moving the ‘flip bit’ into carry bit and further stored in FLIP location , DOSEN’T need time delay.
PROBLEM-2
In the same software for creating the software loop delay you have loaded a value in variable 1, mov VAR1,#255 ,sir what is the formula used for creating the 1.728ms delay.
Yours

Hi sharad, This is the comment area so you cannot post your problems here. Please post them in the forum. See the link at top navigation...
And just to get started.. there is no specific formula to calculate the time delay.. you need to calibrate it.. using experimentation. You can find the exact delay generated by the loop using the number of machine cycles needed to execute that loop multiplied by the timer per machine cycle. Check forum for a better explanation

code will not work with TSOP1738 as remote works on 36 khz.
Go to any repair shot and ask for Philips tv remote receiver they will give you dont go for technical stuff.. when you deal with repair people.

Hello Sir,
This project is quit impressive to me. I was thinking that if no one has this remote control then how he could switch on/off the electrical appliances. So for that i was thinking that why don't you make own remote control based on 8051. Actually I tried a-lot but failed. I don't know what happened. I'm new in this field. So for this project I need your help. Will you help, Please?
Thanks & regards
Abhinav

Hello Ajay sir i just want to
thank you for giving such a nice project!!!!!
i have completed this project in very small time !!!
and it is working great !!!!!! working with Rc7805 remote any IR sensor having 36Khz or 38Khz....but according to my observation ...if i use 36Khz receiver then range extends,,& believe me it does not requires to point remote at the sensor,,,,devices can be operated by pointing remote anywhere, just like RF !!!!!
So i am very happy to thank you !!!!!!
now i am going to increase the number of devices ,,above 15...
i have done with programming !!!!now going to test that !!!!
if necessary i will use 89S52
