Hi all, I has just bought the KS0066 based LCD, which I have just tested using mikroC compiler LCD library. But it only shows block of black characters at first line and nothing at second line. At first, I thought is it because of the library driver not compatible with mine, therefore, I unplug the microcontroller and switch on the power supply, there is totally same black characters coming out, I wondering if my LCD is already broken. Hope anyone here can advise me or help me. Very much appreciated and billion thanks...

LCD is just fine.. I never used microC coz everything inbuilt it makes you lazy.. i know sometimes its needed

anyhow.. try changing delay or something.. look into help file of microC software for settings of LCD etc.

I am sure there is a problem with LCD delay.
