Personally, i don't believe this. its a waste of time (even reading it!), now a days mobile communication has become cheap ( .50 paise per call or even less). it's not worth taking the risk to save few bucks. anyone trying this and caught could be legally prosecuted, its similar to the illegal exchanges setup by few culprits who divert international calls thru their Hubs and cause heavy loss to DoT 's revenue.

i totally agree with Arun, its a waste of time experimenting on stuff like this.

this topic i feel doesn't fit here under " New ideas regarding projects" may be it should be moved to "chill out" category

after reading these posts i just felt like sharing something i listened a long time back on Discovery channel about hackers. Actually it claimed that 'Hackers' are the good intelligent guys recruited by top defence establishments/security agencies to stop illegal hacking of their database by 'Crackers' who seem to be the bad guys.
I just wanted to confirm if i remember this nomenclature correctly.

"Ethical Hackers" are just like any other professionals like docs,advocates, engineers etc their services can be hired by anyone
