Hi Everyone.

I am doing a project using AT Command. I am using Nokia 6680 set. I can communicate with my 6680 via USB by Hyperterminal or Proteus VSM. But I cant communicate via Serial port. I think there must be an initializaig command for enable FBUS. But I dont know that. thats why i cant make communication via Serial port.PLZZZ help me out.

I have a setup of phone -> MCU but before that i'm trying to make the PC work with the phone via a terminal software.

NOw i have an FBUS cable and FBUS phone(S) (1100, 2626, . ) so mobius works, i can read my contacts and sms with mobius so means datacable is okay. But when i try to send the commands in a terminal window, the following occurs.

1. I send 'U' 0x55 128 times. No response.
2. I send the frame for getting h/w s/w version.. no response
3. I send the frame for getting h/ws/w version .. no response
3. I send the frame for getting h/ws/w version .. I get the h/w s/w version in my terminal window 3 times! starting from the ACKNOWLEDGe frame..

What could the problem be??

Currently I am able to send and receive SMS using FBUS on Nokia 3310 using AT89S52. I am now trying to add support for Nokia 6510. My problem now is that Nokia 6510 will not send the received sms through Fbus once a new SMS is received. So that means the only way to get sms is by polling periodically.

What is the fbus frame that i should send to get new unread sms from the phone ?

I tried using gnokii using --getsms IN 1 but i couldn't understand which part of the frame is for getting new sms.

hi ajay,

the problem was in my program .. i have fixed it ... now i'm able to get the hw sw version from the phone ... but a new problem is bothering me ... in the 3310 data cable both the fbus rx and tx pins are shorted because of which the data i send is returned back to the pc ... this makes the programming a bit complicated (i have to drop the data sent by the pc before reading the actual data sent by the phone)... can i separate these two pins to avoid this ?? ....

thanks
bye
