hi jusal,
u can use the 555 timer clock to pulse a bcd counter like 4518/4520 whose bcd output can be given to a bcd to 7 segment decoder like 4511/4543. check out the datasheet of the mentioned ICs to get a design idea.
good luck.

hi jusal,

yes, you can use 555 as pdi suggested also you can cascade above decoder ICs to count more than decade.

Hi Uttam,

Can u brief the details of your project.;)
As the Remote control you can make use of Phillips TV Remote available in the market which works on RC5 Protocol.
and on the Receiver side you can make use of IR Receiver TSOP 1736/38 and need to write the RC5 decoding algorithem

.:bye

@ uttam,
do take care of the following points before posting ur queries:.
1. please do not create multiple posts having same query. I have already deleted three duplicates of ur above query. If u have a slow connection which may lead to the said problem, i would advise u to wait for the page to reload instead of repeated clicking of the "reply' button.
2. post ur query related to the thread topic. It would be much easier to reply to them for us.If the related topic is not present, u can always create a new thread under the related forum topic.
