All GSM modems support AT command set and have a serial port for interface to PC or micro.

does the mobile you mentioned support AT command set ?

but 6600 does not have serial interface. better go for a GSM modem, it will come around 1500 and will do all sort of things u want to do with a phone.

you can purchase GSM modem from any major City. search GSM/GPRS Vendors in google of your city and call them.
