hi,
can u say me the difference between 8051,AVR and PIC microcontrollers. Can i use AT90S8535 instead of AT89C2051. Can AT90S8535 supports same assembly code as in AT89C2051. Can AVR microcontroller family supports 8051 family codes??

Main difference is All three have different architectures. Which means different core designs of each controller. and hence different instruction sets.

you cannot directly replace PIC with AVR or 8051 with AVR or vice-versa.
