I managed to interface PC and PIC via USART. Now I want to interface both the PC and PIC via wireless using RF module. I got the 433MHz module from cytron.com. The PIC is supposed to report back to PC on its Port status via transmitter module which is connected to the TX of the PIC. The receiver module is connected to RX of PC. However, things are not working as they should. I used mikroBasic software to program my PIC. Using the built-in "connection terminal", I noticed that PC is picking up unwanted signals. How can I stop the PC from picking the unwanted signal? I'm cracking my head for the past 1week trying all sorts of programming method to filter it. Nothing seems to work. Help me please!

What do you mean by "unwanted signals" ?

You can refer to my experiment document attached to get a clear understanding. I'm using PIC16F877A. My main problem is to connect PC and PIC with RF module.

I did the interfacing via USART using MAX232 level converter.

Hi Zacky,

can you provide circuit of controller's connection with TX and max connection with RX.

make sure you keep them some distance apart. dont keep them closer coz that will create more noise.

Additional Q: I attached an LED to between the output of RF receiver and Gnd. I noticed the LED was constantly blinking although the transmitter is OFF. Also the blinking rate varied with different values of caps which is connected between the supply rail (i.e: +5V and GND). Does the caps plays a major role is this problem?

Hie Ajay, thanx for the tips. I mounted them on a separate breadboard. Its separated about 30cm. Is it sufficient? Here's the connection diagram.

I followed the guide on MikroBasic Manual for the diagram above.
