hie Ajay,
I m Tejas doing my final year and m planning to take up DTMF controlled circuit application for eg. a wireless robot or a door lock etc.
First of all i m newbie and dont have exact knowledge on dis.
I want to know dat will dis circuit require using two cell phones one used as a remote and the other one on the robot or will a single mobile phone used as a remote and a DTMF decoder circuit on robot work?
In the first case will i have to make calls to the other cell phone on the robot everytime for controlling it and how will d robot be den controlled??
In the latter case how will i control d robot using a single phone and a DTMF decoder? Is it something like i have to just press d number keys without actually making a call??
Can u pls pls Help me out i m really confused.
God bless you and waiting for ur earliest reply.
thanks
-Tejas

you have to make a call, after the call is established (phone is off hook) then press the button to generate DTMF tones.

to decode these tones use MT8870 IC or similar.
