I want to replace a 50V /25W headlamp of a electric vehicle with a LED headlight. I want to connect a led's in series or parallel to achieve that focus alongwith reflectors.

I am stuck up at designing a circuit for this , basically the value of resistors to be used to withstand the current and to prevent reverse polarity and achieve short circuit protection.

Please guide me on this.

Leds vary a lot.
You should probably use leds intended for high power lighting use.

Do you know which leds you want to use ?
As leds are much more efficient than bulbs you will need much less power.
