Hello Ajay,

Hope you are in good health n spirits :-). Well, recently I've got a new project on uC based door locking system. I thought of using AT89C2051 as I'm already familiar with it. For the purpose of controlling the lock, I think relays will work. Will you please help me how to proceed in the project especially in the relay and lock part? If there are threads here that will be of help, then please give me the links. I will read n make the most out of them.

He made it work perfectly..

hi, lheikha..

basically the schematic... shows the controller based door lock system....
mainly u hav to interface the lcd.. & keypad...&relay... hardware is simple... u have to build ur software.... for getting data frm keypad... &display the same data u have enter its lik calculator ...

first u have to get the code frm the keypad (user will enter) & display it in lcd.. so tat they can see the code wat they hav entered... after tat u have to compare the code in program .. if the user code is right u have to turn on the relay,,,

(tat is door lock).......

hi lheikha28,

if you want to understand that well how it works my advice to u is to do simulating the code with proteus of if you like u do the actual hardware..

that wud give u better understanding

R1 POT should be of 10k

hello
i have made this ckt in proteous and tried to simulate it by loading the assembly hex file but the lcd output is showing at start that enter your code:
iwhen i tried to enter code with help of keypad lcd is not showing response no blinking cursor it is not working after ot shows 'enter your code'.
plz help only days are left for my submission.
