HA Doubt

the appliance section required 5V power supply.can i just connect it to the power suppyl section?

when i open the sever, it mention" Port open on com3,waiting for client..."does tht mean i need to plug the HA on com3??

when u switch on the power supply u will get a message on LCD....."New Message"
Connect your hardware through rs232 and chek it on hyperterminal.....u will get message "welcome to Home Automation Server"....

hey sir, i am getting "read message" on the LCD,when i first turn it on =) i was so happy =D...well regarding abt the hyperterminal,i am using vista, it does not come with hyperterminal...is there any other way i could check??...may i know how to use the HAseve, which is given in the file... thanks so much

Hey Tiub! u can chek it on winxp hyperterminal! if u wanna chek it on ur Vista machine then u have to work something extra exculding ur project! here is a link where u can get Hyper terminal Equivalent software for win Vista !

also try the application provided by Ajay in upper post it will also work same!

connect ur hardware to DB9 adapter and turn ON power supply and press several enters in hyper terminal widow probably 5 to 7 times! u will get the message "Welcome to Home Automation Server"

hey sir..in Terminal V1.8 by Bray++,i dont see any enter button in the hyper terminal windows
