Microcontroller 8051 with PC interface

can any1 over here help me
im working on my final year project i need some suggestion
im using push button to connect thm with the micro controller when i press the push button
then signal send to pc
so can u suggest how can i do dat and from where i can get that tutorial

which micro controller ur using and describe in detail ur problem
if ur using 8051 then use a 8051 interrupt to sense that button is pushed

when i press the push button
then signal send to pc

for sending data to pc use uart of 8051 use tx ans rx pin of micro controller to max232 and attach max232 to pc

em using mc8051
basically em new in mc i dnt knw anythng so can u please suggest tutorial

i havng many push button near abt 15 push button and i want whn i press button thn mc snd computer tht button iz pressd n 4rm ovr thr is use programming using visual c++

have u used Proteus
by using Proteus u can simulate ur program on this software now next step is u have to detect a push button that which is press according to that u can there no let say 1 to 15 because push button r 15 as u said
or u can send A,B,C,D.... with each button in other words every button has its unique id
when u detect a button according to that send its id to PC using UART then PC receive it this is the work at controller side
use max 232 that i hope u see in tutorial

no i havnt used dat software b4 em downloading

but i want 2 connect wid mc ?? n UART have only one option of send TX and receive RX

im trying to use it with Keil uVision 4

keil is for coding and proteus is for simulation that is a wonderful tool i suggest u to use that
