doubts on ARM TUTORIAL : uart

I did not understand one thing :

VICVectCntl0 = 0x20 | 7;

I know 7 is for UART1 but I did not know the significance of the command.

as far as i know this VicVecCntl0-15 registor is used for assigning priorities to the vectored interrupt. slot 0 being of highest priority. so i am assigning highest priority to UART1 interrupt. check section 7.4.9 of lpc2148 user manual u ll get some idea.

I get it now.The 0x20 enables the IRQslot enable pin
