I'm developing a project using Philips MCU P89V51RD2.I'm programming in C language.I was using the demo version of Keil uVision IDE but now i'm having a problem as it supports program only upto 2kb.Icannot buy it as its costly.
Can anybody plz tell me some other good C compiler

yes, you can try "TRIC" compiler .......its doesn,t have any program size limitation ......but it doesn't have any simulator ........basically it uses the SDCC compiler which is a command line compiler but TRIC is a windows based IDE.........here's the link

Thanks snehasish but the TRIC compiler does not generate hex file.Then how i can burn my MCU without the hex file.

it generates hex files with extension ".ihx" just rename it to ".hex"

it generates all the files after complation of the program ..........the hex file will be in ".IHX " format ..........just check it..........
