CMOS camera interfacing with ATMEGA32

Hi,
I just removed the camera from an old nokia6600 phone.i found the pinout of the camera in another thread.But i don't know how to interface the camera.i just need to know what the pins mean and how the data is transferred.Please help.

That's where i got the pinouts.but the thread does not say anything about interfacing.I want to know how the camera sends the data and i don't know what are CLK+ CLK-,D+ D- .so i needed some kind of tutorial on this.

D+ and D- is used in USB cable i think camera has serial interface

That didn't help much.the camera connections are found in the third page of the document :

can you please extract any information on the interface from it?

On page 3 of the pdf you attached (image below) we can see clearly that the camera requires 2 sources to operate.
Searching on the same sheet, we can see that vflash1(vaux) = 2.8 volts and vio(vcam)=1.8 volts.
Pins 2,3,4,5, appear to be a I2C or SPI interface. we need the datasheet.
The camera uses 2 clock signals; extclk and CLK+, CLK-. ¿What are they for and what are their signals? we need the datasheet.

I'm afraid you may be up against the MIPI Alliance !!!!


Nokia and a few others formed the Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Alliance
in 2003.
One of their first standards was CSI -1, (Camera Serial Interface).

This looks very much like the pin out for your camera.
Unfortunately although the Alliance claim to promote compatibility, they keep
the details of CSI -1, CSI -2 and CSI -3 secret.

The only way to get the information you need is if someone posts a pirated copy
on the net.
If anyone has seen such a posting, could they let us know.
