You need to use tables.
That will make designing and reversing much easier.
Here is an example

Sir in this code, led blow constantly and nothing else.
any other idea which can merge in my code easily.
can you expand this example for 2 or more pattern with 12 line output?

That code is just the example, not the complete program.
I have attached a full program.

There is no better way.
You can't do any more without dumping your existing code and
switching to tables.
That might be painful, but better done sooner than later.

The attached code is for up to 16 LEDs.
Just point the DTPR to a new table to get a different pattern.
You have to use loops and calls to do the work,
You have to automate the process.

No more long sequences clearing single LEDs.
FYI...- when a LED glows it is good, when it blows it is bad

Thank u dear PHIL sir it was very help full to learn...
sir, i've attached a jpg file where some definition are shown, whether can we do something like that for reverse, repetition of sequence & brightness of led as defined in that program.
actually i was talking about this type of code for mirror action.

brightness control is going to be tough job as you will need a varying PWM for atleast three LEDs which is not going to be easy to maintain. You can take reference from PWM tutorial for generating PWM, keeping different duty cycle will give you different brightness for LEDs.
 sankalp_s like this.

We seem to be moving away from the original project.
I don't think varying light levels will show up well for simple LEDs.
What are you trying to make ?

sir i want to make definition for mirror effect & repetition of design like shown on above picture.
is it possible with 8051?
brightness control is not required for this project.
thank you sirs.

Hi..
Where have you been for the last 9 months ?

If you post a Proteus simulation I might be able to find the fault,
but I can't do it from just your code.

Sorry..
