connecting two PIC16f877A through SPI port using CCS compiler. I am receiving the data at slave but not accurate. Please help me out with some documentation. I have read the CCS manual of pic microcontroller.

I am sending some bytes in ascii from master to slave. Two or three bytes are received accurately and other are garbage always. There seem to be some synchronizing problem. I can not figure it out in C language.

check if your slave support the data transfer speed you are using...
try a lower baudrate.
