I installed the furl program on a test site to try it before I ran it on a working site and it works well. I do however have one problem.

I installed a test mail php program within a directory but when I try to access the program I get directed back to the website homepage

How do I go about stopping furl from redirecting from that directory?

thanks.

Please check the installation of the mailer on your website. It says link not found. However, the normal signup link works perfectly

So must be problem with your installation.

When I replace the furl htaccess file with the original htaccess file the mailing program can be accessed and works fine - so the mail installation is good - it would seem that the issue is with the furl htaccess file - hence the reason you are getting a "link not found" error.

hmm... well.. I dont understand one thing, what it is going to show when you click on that link?

and.. why you are using a separate plugin or stuff like that? I need to have this plugin to see what exactly it is..
can you upload the plugin or preferable is send me the link where you downloaded it from. i will look into this matter.

it's not a plug in, it is a separate php program that I have installed.
I restored the original htaccess file so that you can see the program - clicking on the link will take you to it now.

...and thanks!

do this... there is a rewrite rule for index.php remove that..
i.e.
RewriteRule index.php news.php

something like that... remove that entry from the .htaccess file and also, if you find any entry like above that redirects index.php then remove it. and it will work perfectly fine.. hope that helps.. try and tell me

Question:
What would it take to integrate the mail program into e107?

I'm no programmer - I'm a project director - but I would assume that it must be possible to integrate two php programs either using the same or linking databases.
There is no mail plug-in for e107 available so I have to find stand alone software that will work with the CMS.
I would assume there must be some kind of an API that can be designed to make the mail program a "plug-in" for e107?

Is this possible and how would I go about having it done if it were?
