Ive just downloaded the digi-clock project from this valuable site, and just got a question that can i use DS1302 to replace the DS1307 without having to modify the original program? thx : )

Sorry you cannot directly replace DS1307 with DS1302. Reason is, Interface used by DS1302 is 3 wire interface where as DS1307 use two wire interface. So protocols are totally different.

three wire protocol is totally different from two wire.. so whole program need to be rewritten
all you can copy is the the time setting part i think.. coz that can be used as it is.. rest you need to rewrite.
