hello!

i am doing project in C.but its hex file is around 22k.I want to reduce its memory size.By using some assembly instructions and replacing them with C wld i be able to make program memory less?
or shld i start programming again in assembly.
I am using pic 16f819 whose flash memory size is 3.5k.
please advise on this issue i am facing!
