Dear Ajay
i made the home automation via internet circuit,when i provide supply,all the LED turn on
LCD shows dots for just a second and this disappear,and after a minute micro controller become hot.
Also on giving command the result is some unknown ASCI codes

please remove the micro from the socket.. keep the lcd connected and check the voltage levels (vcc gnd) and reply back.

lProgress is not made by early risers or hard workers, but by LAZY people, trying to find easier ways to do the same........

just check if the microcontroller's crystal should not be shorted with any vcc level.
also check if the microcontroller is alright.
replace withe a new microcontroller and see is same problem exixts.
sometimes microcontroller also has some problem.
u never know.
