hello everyone,
Can anybody help me doing my GPS based vehicle tracking system...I need a circuit diagram for interfacing for a Simcom GPS modem with a 8051 microcontroller..if possible plz send me code for interfacing...hope to get a help from you... actually i dont know the connection between the ports of modem with microcontroller via max 232...so guys help me

Hello Ajay..
I actually needed to know which GPS modem to use. Can you recommend some GPS modem so that i can interface it with 8051 via max 232. One recommended me to use simcom's GPS/GPRS modem. Can we find a GPS + GPRS functioning common modem. how much does it cost. can u suggest me a cheapest and most useful modem?
