can anyone help me in designing the circuit for the DC motor and bluetooth system.The bluetooth remote control is used to open and close the curtain.Below is the block diagram for your reference.

which bluetooth module are you using or you're yet to select one.

what about bluetooth remote? is it another embedded device or what?

i have not selected the bluetooth module.if you have suggestion on which bluetooth module is suitable for controlling dc motor movement.

well bluetooth will not control motor directly, it will just provide you a wireless interface to controller who is actually going to control motor.

you can try sparkfun.com and see if any bluetooth module suits you and under your budget.

it is hard you to built up your own bluetooth module
try to purchase readymade module
see sparkfun site having some bluetooth to serial converter and transiver

for bluetooth remote there are two things you can do.

1. Buy another bluetooth module, interface it with another controller. so two controllers will communicate with each other over bluetooth.

2. You can make use of your mobile phone, write a J2ME application for communicating with your hardware. that will also give you extra control and a nice GUI interface.

GUI is just a graphical user interface. its not related to windows, but its a term used for interface that is graphical to user. can be on any platform or even without platform.

J2ME is java 2 micro edition for mobiles. see link provided by majoka.
