if the modem came with a CD (driver) then..
first uninstall previousmodem and the reinstall again
u may also try by choosing a different port.

i want to download code composer studio v3.3 software.i have tried to download it from www.ti.com, it is a zip file,so after saving it when i am trying to open it,it is not opening.can u pls tell me how do i handle zip folders or please give me some other link to download this software///

after downloading the zip file i am unable to open it because its not opening through either notepad,wordpad or adobe reader,whenever i am trying to open the file by these programs an error shows<<program is not responding(for notepad,wordpad).when i am trying to open it by adobe reader it says << adobe reader doesn't support this file format>> .i have saved the file but still unable to open.please tell me what to do? how should i handlezip files? considering unzipped files is there some other procedure to open zip files?? please send a quick reply///

If you're on Xp do as Shyam says.....right click and extract.
Else download and install winzip.It'll let you extract all zipped files.

in my microcontroller project,at first i was seeing the display by using leds on my trainer board & connecting them to ports of microcontroller but now i want to see the display using a7- segment display,so how will i connect this seven segment display to ports of the microcontroller,please provide me a circuit diagram ///how will i write the code for this display///
