Hi all,

I have to realize an IIR filter on ATmega8535 using AVR studio.

I know how this filter works.

But i've some questions:

1)

Atmega8535 is an 8-bit microcontroller.
I'd like to represent filter coefficient and IN/OUT sample as 16-bit numbers.
How is the best notation (floating point, fixed point, etc) ?

2)

I have to generate input samples using Matlab.
So, i'll create a Stimuli file with this "values" of the input.
But.. I don't know how i can create this file! I know that there are
some graphical tool for creating it, but, probably, i can't understand
how the stimuli file represent.
Can someone try to explain this to me?!

Thank you.

best thing for u is migration to dspic family (dspic33f)
all of features u need is in this family but these chips are hard to learning .

good luck
