Hi Everybody,

I am using MOC3041 - optocoupler for interfacing microCont and Triac BT136, as mentioned in the datasheet of MOC3041 it has built in zero crossing detector, How to confirm that it is firing the gate of Triac exactly when the AC voltage crosses the zero. Whether it is possible to see with storage oscilloscope? IF so please tell how to see or any test can be done to confirm the same

well you have to make sure that you fire the triac on right time coz you are the one writing the code. and regarding checking on scope.. its better if you first isolate the power supply before testing it. or u risk your scope.
