hi , i'm trying to simulate proteus via keil3.. i have installed the vdm driver.. but in target-debug tab i couldn't find proteus simulator,anybody help me .. thanku

look down there you will see a play button there, just click it and the stop is to stop simulation

post a screenshot of debug tab with dropdown open.

which controller are you trying to simulate?

i'm using at89c51...... i found it in another version of keil3. but in the settings tab,its asking for HOST IP and PORT.... i gave another system's IP connected in lan but how to assign port. host com port is COM4.. in default its given 8000 in the settings.... can yo plz put down the steps to simulate via keil.... thanku very much for imm response

hi ajay & rearthur............ i got it man.. to simulate in same system we shouldn't change the ip(127.0.0.1) & port(8000)..... its working fine in keil3 & proteus 7.4.......... but its of no use, i can directly load the hex file into proteus for simulation......... is there any other use........ thanx in advance

well yes there is use, you cannot do step executing in proteus alone, you can do but you wont be able to know what is going on.

you will find its use when u really in need of it
