Hi ,
I am developing a project for security systems using GSM , can any one help me out in choosing the sensors ie smoke and IR sensor with data sheet as well ,i am bit confused which one to use for demo purpose

Arya, you need to visit local market for Smoke Detectors (Photoelectric smoke detectors). they may be costly I am not sure of the price.

for IR sensor, you may use simple IR LED and a photo-transistor. it will give you high/low depending on your requirements.
