hello to everyone.
can i just ask if how to interface a fingerprint biometric scanner that can recognize a person and after recognition, the computer gives a signal to a Nokia 3310 and then sends a message to the particular cellphone number of a person that he/she has been recognized by the scanner..
can you help me out please?

You can do it part by part.
1)Recognize the finger using finger print.
2)send data to pc from fingerprint reader
3)Communicate nokia3310 with pc
4)send corresponding sms/call

For 3 and 4 option you can easily get solution from this sites.

But for 1 and 2 you have to first see the data sheet of the finger print reader.

thanks but thats not whta i am looking for.. what i need is how to interface a N3310 to a pc and how will the computer recieve and send a message to a certain cellphone.. thnaks.. more power!

oww.. sorry didn't notice

well Nokia 3310 has got typical way of communication called FBUS. its hard to achieve for a beginner. I advice you to go for a GSM modem or AT Command compatible mobile phone. so it become easy for you to implement it.
