1. change the ADC to higher resolution about 20,000 counts(using 7135).

at the PC end:
1. display a higher resolution temperature value (preferabally 0.1 degrees)
2. Create a report depending upon the query entered by user.
3. Option to print the report.

the 8051 part is clear to me and will share it once the circuit is finalised.

the VB part is what troubles me and would like to post my doubts as i start developing the application . So requesting the masters (abbas in particular!!) to help me out as the project develops.
would be helpful for any suggestions from all of u thank you.

you can make use of MSACCESS database. Search google for database handling in VB.
