Details for MAX7456 can be found at http://www.maxim-ic.com/appnotes.cfm/an_pk/4184 There used to be a few kits around that did this using a STV5730A which is now obsolete. basically you only had 3 buttons to program the time and date function and it overlayed on the video monitor while you were recording. Apparently the MAX7456 can do this, but i need help with the Micro to control it.
