i tell you the working of sensor...the CdS sensor o/p is connected to ADC, you have to switch each LED one by one.. lets say blue LED, the read ADC o/p then switch green read ADC value, then red... and read ADC again.. now you have got individual amount of primary colors present in the i/p color.now you can test the o/p of ADC with different colors...

you can use any ADC, say 8-bit ADC0804..First of all.. the circuit you are using have no information on how to interface it with a controller. All you need is LED board from that circuit.. the LEDs can be connected to any port pin of controller and LDR's O/p goes to ADC. switching of LEDs is simple... you just need to make that port pin high, LED will glow.Switching will be done in intervals.. you need to take 3 samples per second, one for each sensor. set the timer interrupt for 300mS, so whenever 300mS are over, start ADC and get the value and switch to next sensor.. once you are done taking these three samples process your readings.. check the values you are getting from ADC.lets say readings are 200(R), 10(G), 30(B) - so your i/p color is more of red..
