I checked it. and there are many who checked it. if your LCD is showing black boxes that means its not initialized. check if the code is burnt properly and see if the connections are weak or dry soldered. its always better to solder the board yourself, instead of getting it soldered from someone else. http://www.8051projects.net/forum-t612.html 2009-01-07T22:23:11-08:00 Ajay do the following checks...*Check if the port is same as used in the code?*Check connectivity of the connection using a multimeter*Check for shortsIf everything mentioned above is right then, your controller might be at the problem.to check controller:*Check reset circuit using a CRO (Must show a High->Low pulse)*Check crystal (you will get a sine wave)If your controller is also ok! then.. the problem is unpredictable. I hope after the first checking everything will be ok.
