						<description>Please check the circuit again, Code is working as many people made it, so there must be something missing in your circuit. Check the connectivity of all the connections.check all the ground and VCC connections etc. check for unconnected connections.</description>

						<description>thanks bro....the thing is im an IT student..... I kow nothin bout solderin.....some reason i cant figure out the lcd is showin only black boxes.....i also asked the guy to connect the lcd and 8051 pins by wire and burnt a code to display a char on the lcd to check if its workin... same prob again....dont know wat to do...my sir postponed the submission date to thursday....he asked me to atleast display somethin on the screen.. im not able to.....lcd INITIALISATION....????you mean this part..." initial:mov a,#38h					acall command	mov a,#0ch	acall command	mov a,#01h	acall command	mov a,#06h	acall command	ret"this part is also included in the code i burnt....my lcd is not even displayin a char:(</description>

						<description>Brother there is nothing wrong with the code. I checked it. and there are many who checked it. if your LCD is showing black boxes that means its not initialized. check if the code is burnt properly and see if the connections are weak or dry soldered. its always better to solder the board yourself, instead of getting it soldered from someone else.</description>

						<description>do the following checks...*Check if the port is same as used in the code?*Check connectivity of the connection using a multimeter*Check for shortsIf everything mentioned above is right then, your controller might be at the problem.to check controller:*Check reset circuit using a CRO (Must show a High->Low pulse)*Check crystal (you will get a sine wave)If your controller is also ok! then.. the problem is unpredictable. I hope after the first checking everything will be ok.</description>
