I have figured out it is something to do with the fact that my 107 is not in the root but in a sub directory "e107" and the script is not linking the image files to the old directory - I'm no coder so all I can do right now is create the necessary files and folders in the root for them to show up.A more dynamic solution would be very much appreciated!

simply install FURL and set the rewrite base to /portal after that, your links will be yoursite.com/portal/index.html etc. make sure that the lineRewriteBase /porta is uncommented (if its commented the remove the '#' from the starting of line)

i dont know whether its the problem in the theme you are getting this result. coz.. the thing is. even thought you are going to link http://eglearn.com/portal/forum.htmlits taking images from http://eglearn.com/IMAGE_LINKits taking from root. don't know the problem. The person who started this topic, his problem is solved i think. So might be a theme issue. not sure.what i can say is.. if you really want to use FURL then move your e107 in root directory.. or for testing try a different theme.

ok i think it's not the theme i tried another one and if i use the link http://eglearn.com/portal/e107_plugins/forum/forum.php instead of http://eglearn.com/portal/forum.html it shows the images so i think i will go to the other option and get my e107 to the root thanks for your caring to answer it was so helpful to me
