Hello colleagues,I was wondering if any of you have used WinARM with an Olimex JTAG debugger.Any front end which I can use just for debugging ?Olimex bundle an Eclipse / Yagarto tool chain , but I do not wish to restart a new tool all over again.

Hi Shyam, hardware ---> http://www.olimex.com/dev/arm-usb-ocd.htmlsoftware ----> WinARM for compiling , fiddling with OpenOCD for debugging front end not successful so far.AFAIK wiggler is hardware (parallel printer) and nothing to do with software ( GNU ).I used wiggler with H-JTAG and NoICE(eval) ,works well , but NoICE is a commercial tool and a bit too pricey.

Hi,I managed to get the debugger tested by using a Crossworks IDE.It would have also worked with NoICE probably but my evaluation period had elapsed. This site was quite useful in terms of an almost cookbook approach to getting started up.Of course I was interested only in the debugging part.http://128.253.249.235/cubes/index.php?title=Setup_ARM_Development_EnvironmentHTH someone. However the fundamental problem of using an OpenSource debugging front end is still there.
