Doubts in AVR tutorial

hi ajay..i want to start learning avr n its various application...bt confused whr to start 4rm?can u show me d way?

actully i hav started to learn about ATmega16 using AVR Studio For simultaion. i was studing the microcontoller memories and sombody asked to make a program that would provide e the amount of memory space, left and in use in flash , Data momeory and EEPROM..
can u help me in it...i woul db very great full to u..

hello all,
excellent tutorial site for avr.i really love dis site.
well,problem arises when u do practicals.
i am very new to the avr stuffs.so i am very less confident about how to burn d program in it. i am having a AVR isp burner and all d stuff that are required to burn the hex file.
what i am stuck at when i connect my burner to the target board ,it get connected but when i press the program button it shows program:failed.

when i check the fuses,i found the ,serial program downloading (SPI)enabled;[SPIEN=0]
check box greyed/disabled
and one red question mark on that.


is it the reason for not being programmed of target??
what should i do? help me urgently.please
