PORT FORWARDING

hi,

i want to connect in PPP mode to a server which is in an internal network (local IP address)

how can i do ??

To set up port forwarding you need to be able to change settings in the router.

Details vary from router to router, but generally look in advanced settings.
Find a tab for forwarding or redirecting.

Put in the port number to re-direct on one side
and the network address of the computer to re-direct to, on the other

Check that the port is not already re-directed.
Now attempts from the outside to contact that port will
only be sent to your computer.
