mc mc communication...

Hi guys, i just started working with microcontrollers. i have done little projects like lcd interfacing, data acquisition etc... I m thinking about my final year project. The idea is to get data from pc to one at89s52 microcontroller, do simple source coding on it and transmit it to another at89s52 microcontroller (possibly wireless), implement some data link control such as flow control, error control, error detection and correction(not all but as much as i can). the resultant data is displayed on an lcd. i will add noise to the signal in the first microcontroller.

The fact is that it should be implement on bare microcontroller without some specialized IC. Please tell me if it is possible to implement it and if so how much of it. Also some help regarding the project will be much appreciated. remember i m just a beginner, so forgive me if i m asking something really dumb. Thank you for your consideration.
