what type of stepper motor should I use?

Dear all, may i know how to determine which type of stepper motor I should used in my project? Because there are so many brands in market. the common one is wat? N the driver used must be ULN2003A?

To find which motor you are using.. the simplest way is check how many leads that stepper motor has.. if its a 5 or 6 lead motor then its a unipolar stepper motor..
if its a 4 lead motor then its a bipolar stepper motor.. more information on stepper motor you can get in the tutorial section.
Regarding the driving of stepper motors.. you can use transistors, L293D, ULN series and but the reason for using ULN is its easy to interface.. and need less space on board that the only main reason we use ULN2003 to interface stepper motors.
