NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI)

Take a tour of Vision Builder AI with this interactive demo

Vision Builder AI can help you easily configure, benchmark, and deploy a vision system that addresses vision applications from pattern matching to code reading and presence detection to precision alignment and classification.

With Vision Builder AI, you can perform the following tasks:
Acquire and process images with any NI frame grabber, NI Compact Vision System, NI Embedded Vision System, NI Smart Cameras as well as GigE Vision, IEEE 1394 cameras, and USB DirectShow cameras
Configure more than 100 powerful machine vision tools including geometric matching, optical character recognition (OCR), and particle analysis
Set up complex pass/fail decisions based on inspection results
Communicate triggering and inspection results directly over digital I/O, serial, and Ethernet protocols
Use the default deployment interface or customize your own

Vision Builder AI simplifies the development and maintenance process by replacing the complexities of programming with an interactive menu-driven development environment, without sacrificing performance or range of functionalityNI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI)

I have a question..
I understand that Labview is a test and simulation tool.

Does labview work as a code generator too? can this code be used on any controller?
i have seen videos where they build up a system and program the hardware, usually hardware is a special device not really a generic controller.

Pravin please put some light on this

dear all -
i found a little about Labview--
"LabVIEW (short for Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) is a system design platform and development environment for a visual programming language from National Instruments."

----from wikipedia..

so its a library of virtual instruments those can be used alone or integrative manner...

you can build your own VIs by combining various VIs in your automation program...

so its a kind of Graphical controller designing for controlling your instruments....

---->further awaiting from Mr. Pravin...

Pins high is the normal state. You need a program to set them low
