Query regarding Sensors

its given that output is open collector so.. i am sure the first solution will work.. and i think its really needed to have a pullup on the line being open collector..

I am not sure... but the one shown before i mean HSDL3000 and HSDL3002 might be available.. check online stockists like www.rsindia.com
