i just burnt your hex file now to simulate in real harware and i will study proteus later... thank you very much..

any suggestion how this proteus software works?? first, I selected build all from the menu to compile everything and then run . there is no error and it says successful but when i used to press a key on the project keypad the entire diagram will disappear..

i think i missed somthing here... help...

in keil click on built all option that will create a hex file now u have to load that hex file in proteus open that file which i upload right click on 8051 then it become red if u again right click on it it will disappear when on 1st right click it become red then do left click a window will come ther one option is program files click on that and load hex file where it is nw rihhe click on screen where no component then it becomes normal from red
now at the bottom there is run button symbol just u see on window media player then it will run now u can click keypad now it will not disappear and check ur system time and date it also should be correct

1. create hex file from keil.(done)

2. open the *.sdn file (done)

3. right click 8051---what do you mean by 8051? the one that is in the schematic? yes i right clicked it and it becomes red but when i left click it always disappear.. is there any way of simulating this using this software aside this method?

ru check ur system time and date that is not correct
8051 means the big ic 40 pin u see in the file
keil cant simulate keypad
proteus is one of the best simulator

the one that i right click is the 8051(the only IC in the file)

time zone GM+8 (because im in the phillippines)


i tried reinstalling the software but the result is the same..

i face the same problems once but my system time was wrong so i was getting this am, pm is correct see that or try to change the time may be get working
