Hello everyone, I am doing a project on Flood Monitoring and Traffic Control using Zigbee as a part of my BE project. I do not have any idea how to implement it. I just a basic idea in my mind i.e. communication between the pumps and the control room will be done using zigbee.
i.e I have a zigbee module placed at a remote location(flood prone areas) ehich would communicate to me. The control room(where i would be having a uC placed) will instruct what next step is to be done. How would i implement it. what books to read, what to refer.
Also since Zigbee is new I cannot find any ckt to interface it with a uC.
So pls help

hi miteshshah1990
firstly u have to decided which module u have to see its interface is in what form normally it is serial port interfaced
for interfacing see this link
http://www.8051projects.info/blogs.asp?view=plink&id=263
http://electronicdesign.com/article/embedded/8051-drives-zigbee-kit17791.aspx
on this site one book is available
http://www.8051projects.net/_ZigBee_Wireless_Networks_and_Transceivers
i read on net at someplace that
" Buy some modules from meshnetics they are very easy to use and can be hooked to 8051 with ease "
