Getting CEll ID

hi
i am using simcom gsm modem
and i want to get the cell id of the cell through which the modem is connected and the id of the neighbour cells

i am able to get the one cell ID and the signal strength of the other cells
by using the at+ceng mode of simcom

can any one tell me how i can get teh id of other cell and base station nearby

I never tried it :| so i cant help much, but you can go through at command manual find the appropriate command.

i think you cannot get other cell IDs you get only 1 cell ID in which your modem is connected.
