stepper motor control project

Hi friends,
I work on project.I control two stepper motor using PC parallel port.I done programming in turbo C.I enter stepper motor speed,keyboard keyevent to rotate motor in perticular direction & also enter angle to rotate stepper motor.
Now i want to change in my project. I want to use USB port instead of parallel port.
Is it possible?
yes then How ??.. For that my application remain same.Only change use USB port instead of parallel port.

yes its possible.. use a USB to serial convertor... a USB powered Controller. that is the only way to have a USB communication.

Thank you very much for reply.My project i like security camera.So in future i want to 5 Mbps data speed required.
As i know USB to serial cable data speed is 500 Kbps to 1 Mbps.So, it is not useful to me.But also i conform that usb to serial cable data speed.

Full speed USB devices can go upto 12Mbps of speed.. so the best choice is.. USB enabled ICs.

i also check the IC AT83C5134 which is give 12Mbps.
Can you give me idea about how to interface hardware & programming as i mention early ?....

diyora is also trying to do the same thing... i think.. you need to think of how to write drivers for your USB device.. that is the important thing right now.
i also told him to check application notes on the atmel site.. you might get some information..
