hey majoka,
im using a basic mobile robot with 2 wheels and a free wheel, using 2 dc motors, each connected to a wheel. Also, im using 4 IR sensors which will divert the robot if detects any obstacle.

ok i understand
do wireless communication between robot and pc using blue tooth rf modules as u wish
control its movement from pc side
when it detect hurdle it inform pc
place a camera (wireless) on robot that send video to pc see video in pc
place a temperature sensor on robot that send environment temperature to pc and pc display it on GUI
place a mic on 4 ends of robot when robot hear a noise from relevant side it move camera to that direction
and many more u can do

wow this is a good idea
livepool. give some time with this majoka's suggestion I like the camera and audio thing.. but u need to think what transmission u will use because when transmitting, range is important..

Im also interested with this but the bluetooth module here in the market is expensive..

Dear Sir Ref. to the discussion held with under sign, the detail is as under--- We are in weighing scale field since 1986. We are assembling the scales by purchasing the material from out source ( From India and other countries). Now we decide to make our own Card in our decided shape. So we want to develop a universal card , which we can make all types of scales of up 100000 counts with 7 segment LED Display . Also with other features like Printing, Counting, RS232 Etc. And Three Pass words at different levels. And we can edit the Softwear. What else you can provide in this field, also mention. We will pay you the development , softwear and testing charges. And up-gradation charges at time to time. Our web site is modern-scales.com Kindly revert.
