Hie guys,

I am currently working on finaly year project which is an obstacle avoidance mobile robot...
I have been trying to think about making some new addition to it, so can anyone help gv me an idea on how to further improve my project plz?

add bluetooth functionality n which u can control manually the robot through pc

hey majoka,
im using a basic mobile robot with 2 wheels and a free wheel,using 2 dc motors,each connected to a wheel. Also, im using 4 IR sensors which will divert the robot if detects any obstacle.

ok i understand
do wireless communication between robot and pc using blue tooth rf modules as u wish
control its movement from pc side
when it detect hurdle it inform pc
place a camera (wireless) on robot that send video to pc see video in pc
place a temperature sensor on robot that send environment temperature to pc and pc display it on GUI
place a mic on 4 ends of robot when robot hear a noise from relevant side it move camera to that direction
and many more u can do

ok i understand

wow this is a good idea
livepool. give some time with this majoka's suggestion I like the camera and audio thing.. but u need to think what transmission u will use because when transmitting, range is important..

Im also interested with this but the bluetooth module here in the market is expensive..

i use wirless camera with tv tuner card camera transmit video on receiver side there was a camera receiver card that was in fact a tunner circuit that can be tune to see clear picture that can connected to tv to see in pc extra card needed in pc to see video
