Wireless Switching using RF and C-BUS Protocol
I am thinking to make a wireless switching pannel consist of 10 Switches....
what should be the controll Process???
There will be a transmitter that consist of keypad.....RF Transmitter and Encoder.......LCD.......and......Battery....
Transmitter will be compact......
A Receiver that includes RF Receiver......Decoder.....Relay Pannel....and.....Triacs(use of triac to work as dimmer).
Basic idea is to ON-OFF ten switches through RF Transmitter and also to get the dimmer function for each switch....
for example ten Motors are connected to these Ten Switches.....now we can turn ON each motor and also can set the speed of each motor.......
There will be two extra switches....one for ALL ON.....and second for ALL OFF...
I am thinking to use RWS-434 and TWS-434 as RF Transmitter and Receiver.....coz these are very compact in size and i need a compact transmitter.....like TV Remote......
There are two options for Encoder and Decoder.....one is to use HT-12D and HT-12E.....these are 4-Bit Decoder and Encoder and second option is to use......CIP-8E and CIP-8D......these are 8-Bit Encoder and Decoder....
C-BUS is a protocol made by Clipsal, Germany and this is used to controll switching pannels to connect them using CAT-6 cable and to controll them through Internet....
I am hopping to use C-BUS but after completing above design using RF.....
if any1 wanna learn C-BUS Protocol click Here
ur idea is good
keep it up
first make a simple rf remote then goto next step

i think ur going on the right way these r compact able in size no doubt

on more option is Motorola series MC145026, 145027

its new to me i will learn it
better finish one thing, then move forward
these are available in market here????
@ Ajay sure we will make RF part first and then will interface it with Ethernet using C-BUS .....and one more thing C-BUS is patent but they have policies to use it so we can use it as per our requirment...
@ Majoka the decoder and encoder of Motorola which you mentioned in your upper post are of five bit........
these are available in market here????
its available in Rawalpindi it mean in Lahore too
i think address is of 5 bits and data is of 4 bits

ok i have no concern with data....... 5 bit means, 32 channels.. so we can control 32 different devices.
correct me if am wrong!
PIC or 8051 in case of PIC need 3 volt supply so i can use two primary cells in remote....
and if use 8051 then i have to use 9 volt battery with 7805 regulator...
no problem with rf transmitter it can operate from 2 volt to 12 volt....

the supply voltage for this one is from 2.7 to 5 volts. So this will be perfect for my remote having two AAA Cells.......
