writing a C code for 4-digits 7-segment display

i want to get some information
how to program 89c51
to display from 0 to 9999 on four
digits seven segment display.
i have connected the 7 segment to the Port zero
of 89s52.

start writing the code.. for just counter from 0 to 9999.. it wont be that difficult to do that in C.
