CD4052 Multiplexer Issue

I have interfaced CD4052 with 8051 UART. But problem is multiplexing is happening but not the Demultiplexing. Please help

It is not clear what this means.
Can you give an example of what works and what does not.
We also need a diagram of the actual circuit you are using.

ru using INH (6 pin) of 4052
if this pin is at high logic then 4052 is used as a mux
when it is low logic then it is used as a demux
u has to control this pin using micro controller

you can understand it quickly if you test 4052 in protues..and dont forget to read the datasheet..

if this pin is connected to ground then which pin is left that can change from mux to demux
actually i see it in Proteus that INH pin is switch from mux to demux

majoka you can still mux/demux when INH is low... I simulated it in proteus few days back

INH bit enables/disable the operation of whole device (mux and demux both). so if you make it low both mux and demux will work or else nothing will work.
